How do you calculate my fertile period?
Your ovulation takes place about 14 days before you will have your next period. Knowing your average cycle length and starting day of your last period, we are able to estimate when your next ovulation will be (marked yellow). The exact moment is hard to determine, which is why we prefer to mark 5 days as your ‘fertile period’ (marked green). These are the days just before your ovulation and the day after, on which you will have the highest chance of becoming pregnant. If you want to track your fertile window even more accurately, you could start tracking your body temperature on a day to day basis.
Why does the app have a temperature curve?
Women who are trying to conceive are often advised to start keeping track of their body temperature on a day to day basis. In the first two weeks of your cycle, you’ll notice your temperature is often just a little bit lower than in the latter two weeks. The rise of temperature indicates your ovulation has just taken place, so that it’s easier to determine your fertile period. If you want to start keeping track of your temperature, do so in the morning before you get out of bed and try to measure at the same time every day.
If you want to hide the temperature curve because you are not using it, go to ‘Settings’ and deselect the option to ‘show temperature’. You will still be able to keep track of your temperature, but the curve won’t show on your homescreen.

Go to ‘Settings’ if you want to adjust your temperature settings from Celcius to Fahrenheit or the other way around.

With the button in the middle, you can log if you’ve taken your folic acid today which is a recommended supplement for women who are trying to conceive. With the other two buttons you can log when you’ve been intimate with your partner or that you are pregnant.
